Cincinnati Union Terminal (CUT) has always been part of the Cincinnati Railroad Club logo. So, on this #TerminalTuesday we felt it very fitting to announce that beginning with our January 6, 2022 monthly meeting we will be returning to CUT, the place which has played a large role in the club’s history. Cincinnati Railroad Club, founded in 1938, has occupied various spaces in the terminal throughout the years. The only periods of time we have not been in the terminal were during WWII, the renovation years to convert CUT into the museum center, and most recently with the massive Union Terminal building restoration project that began in May 2016.
The club’s new adventure will provide space for a library, archives, and clubroom for members. Monthly member meetings will be held in the historic Newsreel Theater located off the terminal’s rotunda. The club will have some limited access to Tower A, but stay tuned as we prepare to work with the Cincinnati Museum Center on future endeavors.
This is just the start of what comes next for the Cincinnati Railroad Club. STAY TUNED!
